Exzess presents the latest two-tracker from Patrik Berg. Track number 1 is Acid Ice. 
This production not only delivers a gangster-like groove but also once again reflects Patrik’s deep admiration for the 303 and its signature bass sound. The 303 takes the lead here and is accompanied by funky hip hop vocals, heavy drums, and memorable melodies. This is groovy acid techno at its finest.

Track number 2 is Ritual. This track begins with a mystical atmosphere, while gritty sharp steps and finely programmed pads guide the progression, only to unleash explosive energy after the drop.

Newcastle via London label Jaunt Records revisits its 10 year anniversary EP from 2017 with a series of great remixes by Inland, Jonas Kopp, Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff and Stojche. This is the first of two EPs planned, and it offers up a timeless mix of heady techno and slick electro.
Berlin based Brit Inland tackles Jaunt resident Blackhall & Bookless's 'Spirit' and serves up a heavyweight wedge of warehouse techno. On the same side, Jonas Kopp flips 'Itria' into a sci-fi tinged bit of dub techno and long time studio partners Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff from Indigo Aera offer widescreen synth work and blissed out pads all tethered to rolling and rubbery drums. Stojche's take on Gian's track is a fantastically crisp and futurist piece of electro that will get anyone on their toes. This is a classy EP that showcases the sort of sounds you will hear on any Jaunt dance floor.

"Dormancy" is a mesh machine-like tweaks and dramatic themes that may have been inert until Eddie Hales songcraft forces it to stagger and sway with the synthetic rhythm. 

The title track begins with breathy synths and builds up its momentum with the bouncing beat. Impulses is a dramatic dance floor track, fencing chords tangle with the rhythm that pulses constantly. Bustling and elastic sound of "Variant 1" evokes the body to move along its excitable groove. The tensile theme of "JU-6" never looses its cools with the stagger drums. 

Jon Hester's remix of "Dormancy" keeps the overall theme but adding an old school approach as the track builds up with creamy synths juxtaposed with the clangy percussion.
