Rauschgold (@rauschgold-official) is a music project by two musicians who couldn’t be any more different from each other. One of them is longstanding DJ Paolo-Daniele Murgia; the other one is experienced saxophonist Marcus Michaely. They recently produced “Canto del Chocolato” and decided to provide the song for free via trndmusik.

Hinter dem Alias Rauschgold (@rauschgold-official) verbergen sich zwei Musiker, die wohl unterschiedlicher nicht sein können: Zum einen ist da Paolo-Daniele Murgia, der als DJ seit Jahren unterwegs ist, und zum anderen Marcus Michaely, ein Saxophonist mit mehr als zehn Jahren Erfahrung. You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

"Saba Bo" refers to the Tom Tom, which was traditionally used in East Africa, which was once used for news transmission and mainly as a warning drum!

Around the same time with the album release of Max Doblhoff's "Africa La", the third single release named "Saba Bo" will be released.
The original track has a strong rhythmic imprint, dominated by the two instruments Tom Tom and Kora - the later almost virtuosic played by the great musician Baboulaye Cissokho, his character of Senegalese origin.
The typical African "Roots-Style", originally originated in Senegal, but developed in further adaptations to Kenyan stylistics.

The version with Idd Aziz is a fusion of funky elements, a subtle electro-disco touch, enriched with contemporary synth-chords.

Other remixes are from Makossa & Megablast and the Viennese newcomer Ksawa and will be completed soon after the single release in July 2017!!

Dabei kann man eigenlich nur eines sagen, Ink ist die wohl schönste Tech House Ballade die ich in letzter Zeit, vielleicht sogar in den letzten Jahren zu hören bekommen habe. Von Anfang bis Ende des Tracks stellt sich ein wohliges Gefühl im Körper ein und die Gänsehaut hat sich schon lange nicht mehr so gut angefühlt, so dass man einfach nur die Augen schließen möchte um sich in diesem Track zu verlieren. Something Says setzt mit Leichtigkeit dieses Gefühl fort, ein warmer Bass der sich emotional ausbreitet, toller Text und genauso sieht es mit Awake aus, großartig emotional wie hier gearbeitet wurde.
Fazit:
Auch wenn man ganz stark die Einflüsse von Oliver Koletzki in dieser EP merkt, ist Stil Vor Talent mir dieser EP ein großartiger Wurf gelungen. Ein Sound der sich irgendwo zwischen Tech House und Pop befindet und damit Genregrenzen für nicht vorhanden erklärt. Sehr starkes Release, an dem man einfach nicht vorbei kommt.
