Born in Lima and now based in Amsterdam, Cantella discovered techno in 2014 and began collecting tracks obsessively, letting his passion grow for years

In 2021, after moving to Amsterdam, he started DJing. What began at an open decks night at Radion quickly led to underground raves, small collective parties, and a former residency with Amsterdam collective 2dehuis. 

Cantella’s sound is always evolving, rooted in deep basslines and hypnotic grooves, influenced by deep techno, Romanian minimal, and off-beat sounds.
