Henning Baer [ Grounded Theory / K209 ]

Henning Baer is a man on a mission who’s slowly been building his name in Berlin and beyond.  As one half of the team behind the Grounded Theory Berlin project, now up to the 14th party, they’ve hosted names such as Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Function, Redshape, Traversable Wormhole, Perc, Pattern Repeat, Terence Fixmer to name a few.

Grounded Theory, not content with being just a party, is also a booking agency and soon to be label. Looking after Milton Bradley, Subjected & Moerbeck (Vault Series), Fanon Flowers, Sawlin and Sawf, it’s easy to see that Henning is building an ever-expanding stable of young talent, that will shape the face of techno for years to come.

As a DJ, he’s a regular around his hometown of Berlin. On top of his Grounded Theory parties he can be found playing his trade at the legendary Tresor, Arenaclub and Suicide Circus, as well as an increasing number of appearances around Europe. His no compromise underground techno has been destroying dancefloors at every turn.

It was only a matter of time before Henning took the next logical step into production. Setting up the K209 label, in 2011, with Milton Bradley and dropping the first release in March. He followed it up with his first solo release on the label in September. He’s since had tracks snapped up by Adam X’s Sonic Groove label.

After the Tea And Techno blog named Henning in their ‘Ones To Watch For 2012’ list, all the signs are pointing to a very bright future for this exciting prospect.

Psychoskunk are back with the second chapter of Section Roots series by Error Etica. This chapter included a original track of the label's owner Victor Martinez (Error Etica) and 3 special remixes by the Japan techno artist Hironori Takahashi (Informa-Granulart-Stroboscopic Artefacts) and Pelacha owner of Redsonja Records and founder of Stelar Booking and the famous parties in Madrid Techno Cracks ,
As a special mention the masterful reinterpretation of English techno legend Nick Dunton /65D Mavericks (Surface Records / Inceptive / Poverty is Violence/Blueprint) of the original track: Schematic Diagram thats included only in digital live version that Victor interpreted in mythical club in Barcelona "Moog"

The second Section Roots is a most honourable follow up to the first brilliant title in this series. The original Error Etica production here is another masterpiece of inspired sound design that can only do the best kind of damage on the dancefloor. The Hironori Takahashi brings some heavy drone logic to his remix proceedings and invevitably, 65D Mavericks turns in a remarkable, techno as techno can be remix with amazing exploratory harmonic design in the vein of productions from recent releases. Pelacha lays down some very mixable stripped back, grooved based action and the live version of Schematic Diagram is an absorbing trip through a subterranean techno cave system

Mverto Futura estrena su primer EP "Asesino" a través de @vnnmx, el cual incluye "Piérdelo", una pista en la que se puede sentir la corriente Post Punk con tintes de Dark Wave.
Las cuerdas y las secuencias rítmicas son las protagonistas ya que envuelven el track en una átmosfera digna de bandas como Joy Division, Bauhaus y toda esa corriente de finales de los 70’s, cuando el punk se disolvía y la música New Wave estaba dando sus primeros respiros.

Roberto Guzmán a.k.a @guzzx es un talento joven y emergente de la ciudad de Oaxaca, quien estrena su primer EP a través de @vnnmx. Dentro del EP se desprende el remix que hizo @Pvlomo, productor y DJ perteneciente al label Controlla, con el que no se puede dejar de bailar desde que suenan los primero compases. La pista viene acompañada de las vocales grabadas por el mismo GuzzX y una vocal extra (FREPO! Me siento vivo...) que agregó Pvlomo para darle más cuerpo, mientras que las percusiones y los sintetizadores le van dando dinamismo a la pista.

Jauzas The Shining stars in the new release of Diffuse Reality with a solo album in which the French producer exposes his particular vision of electro, a style that is beginning to have more and more weight in the Spanish-Argentinean label, and that adds to the growing progression and evolution of the platform in which it includes a more extensive range of genres that covers much more than the aggressive sound that so represented this project in its first stage.

Jauzas The Shining recently collaborated on Diffuse Reality with a remix of one of the tracks from Meltphace's album. Now, it is the Frenchman who takes the lead role with a reference that includes 5 original tracks and 3 different remixes of Synthèse by Daniele Paduano, Lenson & FSQ.

The nineteenth installment of Secret Keywords’ Digital Series comes from the mind of a young and skilled producer.
Paris born, Toulouse raised and Berlin-based “Casual Treatment” is a producer who has already shown his vision of techno releasing music on labels such as Illegal Alien, Children of Tomorrow, Newrhythmics Rec. or Nachtstrom Schallplatten, just to name a few. 
His main influences come from Detroit and Birmingham Techno. The desire to experiment and discover sounds is what drives the project. In “Transit” EP you’ll find broken rhythms and distorted percussion layered with spatial soundscapes and driving grooves. Be ready for another trip into the Secret Keywords World.
