Self Learning System present their very first record and deliver a new label focussing on conceptual work as well as interdisciplinary art in full effect.

We believe in the human mind as a self-learning system - creators and originators connected all around the globe aiming to keep the scene alive. We want to cultivate a community and platform for exchange with other artists pursuing music, design, art and events.

Our first strike comes as “The Arrival Of Unisex & Ernst”, a split EP of the two labelheads to introduce themselves and the sound of SLS. The record contains six analog hardware tools ranging from classic Electro to Industrial.

SELF001 also includes an A2 inlay print of Dominik Widmanns acrylic painting „Fabric“ (as pictured). His artworks will cover our first three records, fitting perfectly with the cold and futuristic soundscapes we want to showcase.

Self Learning System is based in Leipzig, where we work together with the local R.A.N.D. Muzik record pressing plant and InchByInch distribution.

Scotish, Dundee based, Hlltown Disco announced the 7th Angel in ongoing 'Angel Series', Asbeel.
Joining the label to help raise awareness are L-Pad, Ole Mic Odd, JLM Werx, DJ NERDIBOY, and Niall Power.
All profit goes towards the worthy mental-health project, Art Angel, who continue to change the lives of people in the Dundee area. The charity is run by people with mental health issues by those who have been through similar experiences, and offers a safe place for people to discover and rediscover themselves through many different art-forms.

Collaboration between two Lithuanian hidden producers. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome” and debut EP “Smoke These” on PPP Records. Sasha Rajkovich, aka Zarkoff, member of Sumerian Fleet, NauGrau, FFFC, Kali jugend and other collaborations, has been active in underground music since the mid 90s. EBM, acid and electro are most frequently visited genres in his musical output, with occasional drifts into post punk or techno. He also likes to express himself through lyrics, influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Philip K. Dick or Vladimir Mayakovskij.
For this new EP, he delivers four cold and melancholic synth-electro tracks, inspired by Old Testament and Gnostic teachings about the nature of the Demiurge. All the vocoded and speech synthethised lyrics are direct quotes from King James translation of the Holy Bible. No comments have been provided by the author, only musical context, so listeners will be free to interpret it however they want.
