With this extreme sound statement titled ‘Facing The Absurd’, Nekyia and Fossa Del Rumore aimed to express a common point of view on what we all call reality, probably a standpoint shaped by their life in the magnificent yet creatively arid city of Firenze, while experimenting with sound as they have always been doing during their long-lived collaboration. Let’s face the irrationality of things, the lack of meaning of an alienating life, the limits of human condition; and let’s embrace this condition with a new inner quiet, shifting the focus on the beauty around and within us, with perception as a source of inspiration and personal improvement. The chase of a chimerical meaning keeps still making perfectly sense for us as transient individuals. ‘Facing The Absurd’ is a dark collection of absurdist theories written through the meeting of modular noise, post-industrial and bass music-infused techno explorations, with a multi-tempo improvisational approach and subtle tributes to extreme music scenes.

Nuestro querido productor Decoder, basado en Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, jefe de Codec Recordings y miembro del colectivo ESP, ha estado muy productivo este último año. Con lanzamientos en Antiterra, Niram, Influenced Records, ESP, Observant, Corpus Black, Hemisferio Records, Untone Records, varios como Cratan, uno próximo en West Rules, y uno próximo en Diffuse Reality Records —esperen nuestro estreno—, llega a la legendaria Subsist Records. 

"Monolithic Activity Spectrum" se titula su trabajo en la emblemática disquera de Valencia. Compuesto de quince pistas originales, es un LP vasto de sonidos que pueden agruparse en el techno, logrando expandirse a otros territorios sonoros. 

En español, el título significa “espectro de actividad monolítica”: la palabra "espectro" significa, entre otras definiciones, según la Real Academia Española (RAE), un fantasma; mientras que "monolítica" significa lo que está hecho de una sola piedra.

"Monolithic Activity Spectrum" se despliega como un álbum que parte de un solo sonido que recorre el espacio como espectro, en tanto su cualidad de delicadeza y sutileza, al pasar, logrando difuminarse y abrirse a matices sonoros impresionantes. 

Club Furies les presenta uno de esos matices: el estreno de 'Beauty in Confusion', la séptima pista de este nuevo bello trabajo de Subsist y Decoder.
