“A DJ needs to be able to surprise people”, this is what Chris Manura stands for. For more than 26 years he aligns music and people. Only after analyzing both, he decides what to play and how to structure the night in a Club. Since 1998 he is a Resident and a solid part of the
Distillery Leipzig. “The party happens within the mind of each and every Individuum, creating emotions through the music and the sound.” This is what he is looking for within his work, not only as
a DJ but also as a Producer and host. Since 2000 he is producing music which he publishes on labels like “Freude am Tanzen” or “Ackerdup. His own Label “Antrieb” launched in January 2020. The “Spektral Openair” which he organizes once a year, is welcoming over 5000 guests by now. Following the concept music creates Community, representing Leipzig local music culture.

@dielinamusic and I decided to re-record our set from Cirkus Tresolar (29-08-2020) in the Techno Tunnel, Gothenburg, as it wasn't recorded during the evening. 

This set is a slow, melodic techno trip where we play with decreasing the tempo of fast techno tracks, making them sound more intensive and present.
