Chain One is the beginning of a new remix compilation on the label New Port Records. Together with artists such as Rene Bourgeois, Nico Pusch, Monova, Dennis Rema, Red Rooms, Copilco and Martin Kleinert, we have generated something new again from already released tracks. We all share the same love for technoid, bass-heavy music. Everything is connected and has a meaning, even if this sense is often hidden, we know that we are close to our true mission when our actions are imbued with the energy, the driving tones, the oppressive bass and the enthusiasm. So we forged an interlocking chain of synthesizer, drums, pads, claps and leads to create something new, tangible. The Greek artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in May of 2016 with a remix of Michael A's '17 Pounds'. Now fresh off an EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music Ziger makes his much anticipated return to Movement with 'Faith in the Future' alongside remixes from SEQU3l and Matan Caspi. 

Much loved for his pure progressive house sound Ziger sticks to roots on 'Faith in the Future' and delivers one of the genres true gems. Anchored by pulsating tones and meaty kicks the piece moves through a variety of pensive motifs over its seven minute journey. Energetic yet meditative; solemn synths, luminous textures and subtle hooks wrap around the framework, ultimately leading to a charming break. Dulcet and dreamy, the one minute interlude shifts planes as the beats fade off before a tasteful build takes you back into the cosmos.

The 32nd release on Clubsonica Records welcomes Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a brand new single. Following releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Cid Inc’s Replug Records and Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records, Dmitry closed out 2016 with his first single for the Colombian imprint. 'Glow' went on to achieve both critical and commercial success, earning praise from Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo, while also fairing well in Beatport's progressive house charts. Now making his much anticipated return to Clubsonica Dmitry presents his latest studio creation entitled 'Expression', alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher, LoQuai and Jonnas B.

Having grown into one of the label's primary artists, Dmitry delivers what would have to be his most sought after track of the year. Beginning with chunky bass tones, detailed percussion and electric stabs the piece has an immediate allure. As its rolling groove gains momentum devilish effects flow through the framework while timely drops provide dynamic moments. Indistinct vocals add to its rhythmic core, flowing effortlessly into a dramatic break. Short and impactful, the centrepiece moves through frayed sonics with a modular cascade building anticipation, leading to a magical drop that's sure to light up your dance floor.

The first interpretation of 'Expression' is provided by Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher'. The spirit of the original is well conveyed albeit in a deeper more refined context. Anchored by a rolling groove the energy flows with a mesmerizing cadence, before a timely break brings a melodious moment. Masterfully crafted, the centrepiece pulls at your emotions before a smooth energy bridge carries through to an exhilarating third act finale.

The second interpretation of 'Expression' is provided by LoQuai. Now making his much anticipated return to Clubsonica, Loquai takes 'Expression' into more melodious territory. Drawing on influences from both progressive and deep house Konstantin reshapes the track into an emotional groover. Icy pianos, smooth chord changes and an underlying melancholia make for a heartfelt first act. Its unique ebb and flow leads to the first of two gorgeous breaks, fuelled once again by the delicate lead theme it's a nod to past classics with a timeless air for the future.

The third and final interpretation of 'Expression' is provided by Jonnas B. Beginning with a chunky low end, exotic percussion and reprocessed themes it immediately draws you in. Its free flowing musical style is incredibly captivating and as the storyboard unfolds its emotive power rises. As one of the tracks highlights, its two minute plus break is perhaps a sound story unto itself; richly textured with soulful moods its heartfelt harmonies guides you on the journey home. Another stunning offering from Clubsonica Records, bringing you not only a great club sensibility but musicality as well. Don’t miss it.
