This fusion festival was - again - everything. Amazing artists, lots of rain, a camp full of new friends, and I had the honors of playing on two small stages. Even though both sets were interrupted for reasons beyond my control you all showed me so much love on the dancefloor I teared up afterwards. I'm happy that the recording of the second set worked. It was the daytime one on Friday eve. From dreamy sounds to space disco and back. Excited to hear what you think. Big love to the crews for having me and see you hopefully next year. ❤️

A decade into his career, London-based, Doncaster born DJ and producer Mella Dee shows no signs of letting up. Bringing a strong work ethic to his creativity, Mella Dee (or Ryan Aitchison) is nothing but prolific. A steady stream of EPs and singles on labels including Saoirse’s trUst Recordings, Pete Tong’s Three Six Zero and his own Warehouse Music has seen the Yorkshireman move from glitchy techno to euphoric synth laden house to joyous peak-time anthems; all the while becoming a favourite at clubs around the world including Berlin’s Berghain, Barcelona’s Nitsa club, and Amnesia Ibiza and taking his All Night Long parties everywhere from the big room Telegraph Building in Belfast to the intimate Sneaky Petes in Edinburgh. A regular in the record bags of everyone from Saoirse, Midland and The Blessed Madonna, he’s also a DJ and producer who always has at least one foot on the dance floor. “Playing clubs all around the world and making different dance floors move has definitely improved me as a DJ and producer,” he says. “And if I’m not in the booth, I want to be on the dance floor. That’s what drives me. Making music that I want to hear on the dance floor”. Bassiani Podcast 188 is a pocket-sized dose of stripped back rhythms, an offbeat nod to UK garage, breakbeat and house that gently rolls along at a cruising pace. Oliver Huntemann, a master craftsman of techno, brings his signature style to the mix—a style that's been honed in the vibrant city of Hamburg. His music is a testament to German engineering, with a sound that's as precise as it is compelling. Known for his linear and direct approach, Huntemann's tracks are stripped back to their metallic core, embodying a 'less is more' philosophy that resonates through the speakers. 

Marc Romboy stands as a paragon of eclectic and boundary-pushing electronic music. With a career spanning decades, Romboy has left an indelible mark on the scene, from his early days in the acid house parties of Western Germany to his influential label, Systematic Recordings. His style melds the old school with the new, creating a sound that's both melodic and energetic, with a penchant for the classicist touch.

Together, Huntemann and Romboy weave a tapestry of sound that's both dark and driving, yet melodic and introspective. Their new track, "Teufelsfisch," is a prime example of their synergy—a seven-minute journey of tension and release, where their combined skills forge an absolute weapon of a track.

After playing an early slot last year, this year a set during peak time allowed me to dive fully into the more energetic side of my sound. With one of the best crowds I've played for yet, great weather and a LOT of new ID's, this set was one of my highlights of the year so far. Hope you like it!
