AKRAKABO! vol.2 - More Afrobeats, Pop and Dance

Dennery Soca, is a style of Soca music that originated in St Lucia and is now being embraced across the Caribbean  and Soca audiences worldwide. 

It is raw, unapologetic, wild and rawkus.

Originally the sound was the St Lucian take on Angolan Kuduro music which mirrored the music's high tempos. As the genre has developed it has now incorporated all the tempos within the Soca music spectrum.

In this mix, I focus on the slower side of the music (100-110bpm) where a 'dancehall style' of Dennery Soca has developed.
