“All The Lights In The City” is the final single to be taken from the forthcoming new album from Alt-Folk Quartet, Darlingside.

Dave from the band shares... "Several lines in the song feel like actual dialog between domestic partners, especially in the second verse (“what you’re mad about’s not the weather it’s what I’ve done to you [...] talking over the TV’s making us both loud”), so I was really excited to record Molly’s vocals there and to lean into that sense of dialog by having it feel almost like a duet. She recorded her vocals at my house and we worked out her parts on the spot by just having her try different things, and her parts are my favorite thing about the track. I also love the way the final chorus turned out—it features Dietrich Strause on trumpet, and was inspired by a conversation with Nick Gunty (of Francis Luke Accord) who suggested the dramatic drum fill into the big re-entrance."
 
The highly anticipated album, Everything is Alive (Thirty Tigers), released July 28th,  is the follow up to the band’s celebrated 2020 release Fish Pond Fish, and while Fish Pond Fish celebrated the unity and harmony of multi-instrumentalists Don Mitchell, Auyon Mukharji, Harris Paseltiner and David Senft, Everything is Alive showcases the individuality of each band member.

We are Clue Records, an independent record label based in Leeds. We work with artists we adore to release music we love. We also host a monthly show on Amazing Radio, showcasing the best in new music. Clue is run by Scott Lewis with support from Steven Langton, Tony Ereira + Paul Thomas.

The label was founded by Scott + Ste in 2012 over a beer. After 7 years of releasing, Clue merged with Hatch Records, welcoming Tony + Paul to the team, as well as releases by artists like The Wedding Present and Nine Black Alps.
