Static Ways for Needle

Since immigrating from Czechoslovakia to Montréal in 1989, I’ve been playing with sound, sound systems, and visuals both solo and in collaboration with others. From 2001-2004, I organized four outdoor multi-day events called Hostýn an hour north of Montréal in Saint-Calixte. During the same period, I performed at the SAT as part of their Mix-Sessions on multiple occasions. Starting in 2010, I ran a radio show called Beat Assembly on techno.fm for 3 years. For me, techno is pure freedom – to express, to release, and to connect. Whenever I get the chance, I love to drop some driving, hypnotic beats.
