Episode 2 of Mainstream–Downstream (主流–下流) on TESTFM Radio. It features our second guest: Brussels-based DJ and selector Edouard Hauki.

The author's words: "Waking Life was the main source of inspiration for this mix, since I recorded it one week before this year's edition and I was super hyped to return to the lake. It reflects the sound I link to the festival: deep, dubby, dreamy and even a bit jazzy/funky at times. Lots of psychedelic and Eastern influences as well, which I love.

The mix is like a small journey around the lake: Starting with a slow morning at the Cochilo and watching the Outro Lado from afar while heading to the Floresta. A bit of dubbing at the Praia afterwards and returning to the Cochilo to come down.

Kadiristy (@kadiristy) is a Kyiv-based DJ, producer, and founder of the Regulardisco label, known for his bright, eclectic sets across disco, balearic, italo, and acid house. A resident of VERTUHA, he often celebrates the uplifting side of electronic music.

In this episode, he shifts gears to explore his downtempo side. The mix moves through quirky leftfield grooves and broken rhythms around 100 BPM — danceable, unexpected, and nostalgic. Built from fresh finds and long-lost tracks on a 15-year-old hard drive, it offers a cohesive glimpse into a more introspective sound.

In April, we had the honour of hosting one of the all-time greats: Intergalactic Gary. We're thrilled to finally share the recording of his set that night at Low Profile Studios, so you can relive the dancefloor magic. Over the course of two and a half hours, you'll hear Gary’s mastery in full effect as he glides through Italo deep cuts, proto-house meltdowns, space-disco voyages and much, much more.  

We’ll be returning to Low Profile Studios for another night of sonic synchromysticism on the 23rd of August, this time with Alicia Carrera and Jonah Considine.
