William Mendedelbaum is a pianist who despite his young age is very present on the scene of Reunion.

He began playing the piano at the age of 12 and discovered a real passion for this instrument. He studies only current music.

A few years later, around the age of 16, he started playing in bars and making himself known. Wishing then professionalize, he enters the professional training of the School of Contemporary Music "EMA Reunion", to follow the curriculum of Musician Interpreter of the Current Music (M.I.M.A.). During his training, he deepens MA, and especially the jazz he particularly likes.

Off-road pianist, he can play with many formations and musicians in Reunion of all styles ("Kafmaron", "Sitrongalé", "Quartet l'Essaim", "Jade", "Captain", "Prof Jah Pin Pin", "Maesh Vingataredy", "Guillaume Robert" ,"Prof Jah Pinpin" "David Adelson", "Loic Simon", "Klowdy" .... to name a few).

For more than 3 years, William is a resident of "Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra" and was in many places (Choka bleu, Studio 32, Hemisphere, Cherry, Bistro, Kerveguen, Univert, .....). With more than 250 concerts to his credit, William Mendelbaum is part of the new generation jazz.

In solo concert, he offers compositions and covers, arranged in his own way. A jazz pianist, he is moving towards modern jazz, to which he adds many influences (world / klezmer / gnawa ....). Groove and improvisation are very present in his game, as it is a grain of madness that makes his game unique. Open to a varied palette, it is not limited to a color ...!

Its originality distinguishes it from others. One feels inhabited by music: when he plays the piano, it is for him a real means of expression and exchange.

He is currently preparing a solo piano, full of surprises and origins.
