Jo-z is a bay area native who grew up in the port town of San Pedro, CA. He began his music career as a french horn player and eventually ended up with a passion for the guitar. He has many influences which range from Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and SRV to Ludacris, T.I., N.W.A., and Dr. Dre. 

In collaboration with other talented producers, Jo-z loves to brainstorm and experiment with multiple genres and ideas, bringing you a fresh, unique, and chill, California sound. In a nutshell, he is a diverse mix of funk, trap, rock, hip hop, house, and indie music. 

He has had the privledge of working with highly esteemed clients such as Nestle, As Blood Runs Black, Save A Warrior, Yellowhouse Cafe, Espn, Tayler Jenson, PBS, A-Hi, the Format Show
