Steven Mccann was born in belfast,Northern Ireland.At an early age steven was captivated by the sounds that he would hear his parents play on LPs,his fathers influence off mod and ska compared to his mothers love off jazz and northern soul.It was at an early age that steven felt an affinity with the underground dance scene off northern soul and he would spend hours listening 2 bootlegs and promos on vinyl.As steven reached his teens his musical taste started developing,he started listening more to indie music,groups like oasis,radiohead,the verve,stone roses,charlatans,new order,jean michelle jarre,at this time steven started playin acoustic guitar,trying to recreate the sounds he spent most off his time listening too.Also around this time steven was introduced to house music,in the early 90s northern irelands clubscene was pulsating with new vibes and steven very much wanted to be a part off it,clubs like kellys,curcus,circus,sugarsweet,charlie heggartys and djs such as,david holmes,glenn molloy,gleave d all opened up an exciting new chapter in stevens life,it was at the age of 16 that steven got his first set off turntables,and spent watever money he had tracking down the pieces off vinyl he coveted.With these new sounds steven started experimenting not only with house music,but jazz,soul,ska,and found a lot off similartys in the different types off music,stevens musical taste was evolving and at this time a newwave off indie dance acts had grabbed his attention,with acts such as,morcheeba,massive attack,portishead,air,leftfield.Steven had now a solid foundation off what sounds moved his soul,and would spend hours perfecting the flow off music combining all genres.over the years many new djs have influenced steven,such as..sasha,digweed,jody wisternoff,james lavelle,behrouz,desyn masiello,omid 16b to name a few.Steven has played in many local clubs in belfast,and if not playin is always there to listen to new talent,his aspirations for the future include to start producing his own music.Steven is most happiest when he is sharing to the masses the joy that music continues to bring him!!

His recent sets span the Deep and Melodic side of Electronica and Techier productions by artists such as Tale Of Us, Maya Jane Coles, Solomun, Tigerskin, Maceo Plex & Sasse. He cites DJ's such as Desyn Masiello, Ricky Ryan, Luke Fair, Tom Morgan, Hisham Zahran & Dana Bergquist as contemporary peers.
