Playing a set when half the party is still wanting to dance and the other are trying to go to sleep is always a challenge.  This is the second instalment in my sunrise set series at the party that started it all for me.  I have really started diving in with more chill electronic vibes and melodies for this mix then at the end I throw a heavy dash of dnb at cha!! Selector !!! 💥TECH HOUSE💥 Cmax is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival.  His first passion was emceeing so when he got the chance to finally combine them he could not turn it down. Tech house with a dash of DNB and Funk 🔊💯🎶❤️  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many dope places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“  🛫🌎🌍🌏🛬
