This year being my first for me playing festivals and truly diving in as an artist has been such a rollercoaster of learning the ins and outs of this biz.  I was fortunate enough to be taken on by  Seara management and to say that I was picking Chris’s brain would be an understatement. He usually deals with large established artists that are doing tours along with high profile festivals so my gratitude towards this gem of a human for putting up with me will never fade.  I will always be thankful for all the mentorship and knowledge I received. Right time right place for me 100%  When you add the fact my dad was a Dj and I was getting in the game mid 40’s let’s just say I felt I had to make up for lost time… only that time was spent on the other side of the booth dancing my ass off. To make my way out of the crowd was no easy task but with perseverance here is my New Years mix from White Rabbit show in Vancouver 2022.   These guys are big for throwing Tech house parties so the Midnight till 1 am time slot was legit!!  They set up a massive PK bass bin right in front of the dj booth and these tracks shook the whole club.  ❤️❤️❤️ one love Cmax

💥TECH HOUSE💥 Cmax is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival.  His first passion was emceeing so when he got the chance to finally combine them he could not turn it down. Tech house with a dash of DNB and Funk 🔊💯🎶❤️  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many dope places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.
