First Kelowna gig was a safari themed party and also the first one to happen in town after the pandemic covid rules had lifted.  We were not sure if it was going to be shut down cause the govy kept changing the rules on live music.  It could not have gone any better.  We stopped at value village and picked up 15 or so safari looking necklaces and gave them out to the other djs and people that put on the show. ❤️ People were super amped to dance again after 2 years without shows.  I love dj sets when they add instruments or vocalists, so I brought Cass with me and she dropped hooks fully improvised on some songs and we both freestyled to others.  It’s hard to express in words the stoke level when an idea comes together and exceeds all expectations performing a show like that with someone you love.  One love to the Vibes Familia crew for bringing us out.   ❤️💯🔊✨🎤

💥TECH HOUSE💥 Cmax is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival.  His first passion was emceeing so when he got the chance to finally combine them he could not turn it down. Tech house with a dash of DNB and Funk 🔊💯🎶❤️  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many dope places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“  🛫🌎🌍🌏🛬
