The 1982 slasher classic "The Slumber Party Massacre" follows a group of teenagers being followed, terrorized, and brutally murdered by a deranged killer with a 12 inch drill. Not much is known about the killer, in fact he's probably one of the most generic killers to come out of early 80's slashers, however his weapon of choice was enough to make a impression on me. Now this movie is not nearly as scary as I'm sure it was when it was first released 39 years ago, however I wanted to capture the atmosphere that the movie gives off today in 2021. A fun, campy, slasher full of all the clichés we love from the genre; boobs, guts, and doomed teenagers. It won't leave you shitting your pants but pull up to a friend's house with a case of beer, some weed and sit back and enjoy the good times laughing at all the ridiculous decisions that are made in this movie. This little project right here is what started it all. Recorded in my bedroom in the winter of 2020, I found myself completely obsessed with the 1981 slasher film "My Bloody Valentine". Inspired by bands like killwhitneydead. and Dr. Acula, I knew I wanted to make a ep capturing the story of the film in a concept album. 

I wrote many songs, 6 to be exact (which is a lot for my adhd) but these are the songs that made the cut. I recorded this before having proper equipment or really knowing what I was doing. They're rough. they're imperfect, and they're angry. Kinda like the movie lol. 

To anyone who listens to every song I wanna say THANK YOU, countless hours of my life went into to this specific project and I learned so much from it. I'm sure this will change but as I type this in 2023 I can say this is still my favorite project I've worked on. I hope you enjoy and maybe check out the movie if you haven't. Thank you.

Spent a week of my life researching for the lyrics of this song, was originally gonna be a concept EP but I got burnt out writing about the zodiac. I did love this song though, came together really easily and the artwork was a ton of fun to make in photoshop.
