Ok people, it’s about that time again. The sun’s out, restrictions are being lifted, we figured a celebration is in order. Why not gather 4 of the dopest bootlegs we could carry and deliver them to your ear holes in a timely manner. 

First up we’ve got Freshly Dipped repeat offender @TowlieDJ. This time he’s been buffing his brass and delivered a slab of instrumental funk, polished off with some J5 goodness. 

The head honcho @RoastBeatz has finally gotten off his fat arse and contributed to something. He’s extracted some funky licks from the JB’s and smothered Jay Z steez all over the top. 

Back once again is Cuttin’ It Fine long-term offender, @frankee_more. He’s slowed it down and taken on a Dr Dre heater. We know Frankee’s up to the challenge. The end results… Neck Snappingly Delicious! 

Rounding of this collaboration of heat are our good friends @crashparty They’ve taken an ozzie classic Front Row, spiced it up and added some perky wobbles taboot! This one has been doing damage in streams and will continue on the dancefloor! Yay!

Advent day number 8 has rolled around so who fancies a Christmas fiddle? No no no, not that kind of fiddle ya mucky buggers! We're talking the kind of fiddle played by someone with a bow in a jolly way and that's just what, Mr Rich and The Caretaker, have with their exclusive Crimbo freebie for us. It’s apparent how much fun Qdup and EVeryman had while writing the lyrics for Joyride. They were on tour driving between gigs and pulled inspiration for being on a Joyride to the party. For these remixes, Qdup commissioned a few good friends to hop in the whip and reimagine the ride. First up is old friend and fellow Washington, DC native Wes Smith who relocated to San Diego, CA. Rusty Cravers is the new Future House side project of Vancouver’s Wood n Soo who are good friends from western Canada and part of the Danio Management family.

You may know Wes Smith from his releases on Punks Music and his own Juice Recordings imprint, Wes has really made a name for himself in recent years with his remixes and original production. This is the second Wes Smith Remix on Fort Knox Recordings, and his musical diversity shines well on this remix as he pumps up the tempo to a Jacking Funky House vibe. Wes Smith let EVeryman’s lyrics lead the track and drops a huge 808 fueled breaks breakdown in the middle which is sure to set the dance floor ablaze!

Rusty Cravers push the tempo up as well and remixed Joyride into a bass-driven Future House banger destined to wreck dance floors worldwide. Laden with infectious dark keyboard leads and more dubbed out vocals let their clean production style come through. Huge horn stabs push a driving house beat and a devastating sub bass that can flex any sound system set the tone for their trip to the party!

CMC & Silenta are back with another remix EP from their successful album "Get it on Now". The EP, released on vinyl, includes three hot club tracks from the original album plus three remixes on the B-Side.

The remixes are super, starting with "Yeah That's Right" from new uprising stars: The Phunk Junkies. Kotch, one of the Junkies, gained massive attention last year with his Buccovina glitch-hop styled remix that was played by every DJ in the scene. Label boss for Skanky Panky Records, William Breakspear, whose known for his K-Lab remixes and collaborations with Ashley Slater, shows us his interpretation of "This is How We Rollin''.  And Funk Ferret, from world of Ghetto Funk, took "Big Up Booty" and transformed it from a deep bass rocker to a funky breaks monster.

It's no secret that the original feeling of hip hop, with its party grooves, b-boys, and breakers, was successfully transmitted from the Bronx to Europe long ago. A healthy number of European groups and artists adopted hip hop poses, translating the beats and attitude for their audiences. Expressive twists and turns on a traditional sound vibrate even today, leading the way for DJs and producers to explore the genre with impressive, dance floor-worthy results. Germany's funky breakbeat duo CMC&Silenta are a shining example, crafting tunes that draw inspiration from hip hop as well as their country's electronic music legacy.
