Brooklyn’s own and Marcy native Sonney B. has proven to be a force to reckon with. Influenced by life music and local “hood celebrities”, Sonney B. developed a passion for Hip Hop and the art of rapping at the tender age of ten. He crafted his passion by studying and learning from the likes of Hip Hop Elites of the 1990s such as Wu-Tang Clan, Cash Money, Roc-a-fella, and Bad Boy. 

His grind and determination paid off when giving the opportunity to perform at New York City’s hottest Hip Hop nightclub SOB’s with Slaughterhouse’s own Joel Ortiz, the Bronx's heavy-hitter Fred da Godson, and multi-platinum Hip Hop artist Busta Rhymes.



Currently, Sonney B. is set to release his next single “Work” late April 2015. Just like Usher’s “I Don’t Mind”, “Work” is a hit-banger for the clubs and the next “stripper anthem” of appreciation. His single also features group member Brickz, another up and coming Marcy sensation.
