Hey Electro people ! We are happy to share with you dj mix prepared by Spanish (Madrid based) Electro expert - Joaquín Boneton Lapeña aka The Zenobit3. When we say "expert", we really mean it. Joaquín is a long time (from beginning of 90's)vinyl only dj who has decent vinyl collection of old & new school Electro. His music productions, as The Zenobit3, are characterised by melodic structures, hypnotic arpeggios and killer bass lines and well respected by many Electro dj's. Have a nice time and enjoy music !

Embodiment 066 - Owl

Milan-based Piezo (@piezopz) sits at the heart of the current club sounds. He has long had an obsession with sound system music and that defines what he does today: mutant and beguiling club tracks with meticulous sound design and thrilling energy, heavy low ends and a real dose of UK influence from d&b to garage, grime and techno. He kicked off the year by dropping his genre-busting Ecstatic Nostalgia EP on our Dekmantel-UFO sub-label and now returns with a podcast that is just as fresh.

It's a futuristic mix of bleeping machines and lurching rhythms with bright synth designs and deep space ambience. Over the course of 90 minutes, the pace picks up and you're whisked along a variety of rhythms from broken to dubby, head spinning to minimal. It feels utterly spontaneous but is also a fully coherent mix from this restless innovator. 

Dekmantel Mix 483 - Piezo

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝓥 : Marie Pravda, Ankali.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
When Marie Pravda settles into a DJ booth she’s there to spark some chemistry with those willing to embrace it. While she is perfectly capable
of generating similar energy in her recordings for the online world, it’s the endless push & pull with the physical crowd that charges her selection and mixing. Developing into an avid digger during long shifts in gloomy basements and online, the Prague-based DJ and DIY promoter took the Czech scene by storm with her savage take on a growing range of club music – be it with selections from her trippy or dance folders.
In 2020 she joined the resident collective of Ankali & Planeta Za where she runs her regular Planeta Pravda club series. Marie has contributed episodes to numerous online radios and mix series for club or non-club outlets. She recorded mixes for Knekelhuis, hereandthere, Galactic Funk, and appeared on online broadcasts of NTS, Hör, Mutant, Kiosk, Operator and many more.
In 2021-2023 she was a member of the artist roster of Gravity Network, an international initiative for club cultureexchange in Europe and beyond.

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝓥 : Marie Pravda.

Following https://soundcloud.com/mikkel-rev's debut album on the label in 2023, ‘The Art Of Levitation’, the Norwegian artist returns with Journey Beyond, a selection of tracks demonstrating his innate ability to conjure the most atmospheric trance music, irrespective of BPM.

Journey Beyond was created from an extensive set of tracks sent to the label that were initially sequenced as two shorter EPs. With the first offering a slower 80bpm trance style, and the second EP, a classic ~130bpm trance style. However, over time, with tracks swapping in and out, ASIP had the idea to create a mixed version, progressing through the tracks and increasing bpm's, showcasing Mikkel’s ability in bridging euphoric worlds - and a style that is often reserved for Mikkel’s live performances amongst the forest raves held as part of the Ute Collective in Norway.

Classic trance and the art of a DJ mix have been influential to ASIP since the label’s inception, making this release and the process of creating it a true reflection of how Mikkel and the label come together to define the end output.
