My sister asked me to send a playlist to listen to while in labour, which i thought was a really fun task. I’m not sure if it helped, but here is a collection of the songs i sent. It ended up being a pretty self-indulgent exercise, but the idea was that i thought these songs would be nice to hear when you get born, depending on your taste in music as a baby. 

Ideally enjoyed while being born, but suitable for other occasions.

Here I wanted to explore textures that pull you in, blending ambient moods with hip hop grooves and experimental twists. It is a space where sounds stretch, collide and breathe, dynamic, alive and open to both listening and feeling.”

A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.
