I remade the song using the exact same instrument I used to make it with. The Sytrus - Celestial Organ :) I fell in love with this sound when I first head it. Good times <3

My Sega Genesis cover of Frozen Heart Melancholy (Frosty Citadel Zone Act 2) From Sonic Gaiden, a mod for Sonic Mania.

This is my one, and probably only cover for 2023. I unfortunately didn't make any music this year other than this cover because I had no motivation to actually create anything. I've taken breaks before, but I truly think I was experiencing burnout. I just couldn't bring myself to create anything. I'm really glad I did though, and with this new cover being out I hope this means that I can start creating music again.

Zero2 has been defeated.

With his destruction comes the annihilation of Dark star as well as the reoccurring dark matter in the star system. Kirby and the gang make their way back to Ripple star, now accompanied by the completed crystal shard on the warp star, ready to celebrate.

Such transgressions appear to have no end however..

As the gang makes their way back to the castle, Dark star's obliteration not long before then, a echoing stomp across the field of space resonates as far as the ear will allow. It occurs once and almost as if being targeted, the warp star is derailed immediately upon coming in contact with such frequency. The gang hangs tight to the star, now threatening to self destruct if not careful. Fearfully, eyes darted around to spot the origin of such resonance only to be replaced by the resonation of the Crystal shard used to defeat Zero. It is responding to the call of the frequency and such response sends concerns to Kirby and the gang.

Was there more Dark matter? That should be impossible.

Nevertheless, they need to regroup at Ripple star to make sense of the dilemma. Unfortunately luck was of no saving grace, and a second stomp shakes the fabrics of space. The warp star nearly going into a frenzy, Kirby is ejected along with the crystal from the star that made its way back to the castle. This sudden launch sends Kirby into the deep fields of space, the Crystal no longer in reach and practically out of view.

All comes to a halt as Kirby flies through the stars gently, floating in the vast void of space.
He regains himself.
However not alone...

A strange Orb like object sits next to the pink puffball, almost being mistook as dark matter. Though similar, it's far from it. Almost the opposite. It's purple, completely matte and solid, a stark difference to the gaseous forms dark matter took. It is here where Kirby made the mistake of attempting to interact with this object, only to be greeted with an all too familiar eye greeting him.

Antimatter has responded.

It looks at Kirby with utmost curiosity but assumes a battle ready intention. Space warping to Kirby's dismay almost like magic, in an instant the landscape has transformed, and all in control by Antimatter. It looks at Kirby with a glare, its eye displaying a vicious red.

This was not the thing it was looking for...

An Act 2 done in the vein of Sandopolis Zone Act 2. 
For the most part, not too different, but the differences that are there make a world of difference. Probably. 
Just fooling with the instrumentation, the bass, lead, and Daow, and changing the key from E to D#, but otherwise, it's pretty similar.
