"Seduction Scale" is a musical introspection celebrating 10 years of The Clamps and 10 years of Kosenprod label aswell. 
A journey into Drum & Bass Music in his largest dimension, combining angry beats, gritty bass, melancholy and storytelling spiced with some mechanical and industrial movements. Julien collaborated with Experimental Jazz guitar player, Thomas Carbou, on the track “Family Chest”, to give a mechanical but however humanized initiatory journey in the meanders of modern experimental music.
Through this Ep, rediscover your feelings and let yourself be seduced by your own reactions.

Birmingham-based production duo The Skeptics return to Intrigue Music for an impressive two-tracker, as the label continues to push the very best in drum & bass from Bristol and around the world.

Blood Orange leads the release with its infectious groove and modulated sub-bass that make for an instant head-nodder. An emphatic call and response bassline keeps the energy high as it rolls through a nervous atmosphere punctuated by the kind of drums that keep a dancefloor stomping.

By contrast the lush sounds of Close To Me demonstrate a musicality that The Skeptics do just right. Featuring the vocal talents of Phoebe Train, the tone of this lovelorn liquid roller matches the lyrics that speak lost affection and respect.

Lifestyle is very pleased to welcome back to the label bass-mangler extraordinaire Nami! This time joining forces with a fellow Russian; Kapha, an elusive producer from the underground making his first marks on the scene, and sizable marks at that! The two tunes smack of Nami's dark and experimental style, each having a distinctive sound that's certain to get the gun fingers & grimaces out! 

A-side Praxis is a cold slice of experimental tech; a minimal introduction drops into an ultra-dark, driving bass & break, that doesn't relent. The track channels the vibe of heavy industrial techno, while retaining an irresistible neuro groove through some clever bass & drum programming. Another really unique sounding tune from Nami that will stick out a set, in the best way, and have people fumbling online for an ID the day after. 

The flip, Transmitter, is another high-energy, reese-heavy banger. The core of the track is a repeating mid-bass reese riff, laid on top of huge sub stabs and swells. As the tune progresses the spectrum thickens out even further, with even more interesting bass movement, weird atmospheric objects and textures. The track is basically a masterclass in otherworldly audio & modern bass design, which is nothing less than expected from Nami, who is cementing himself as one of the main players pushing the envelope in underground drum & bass. The inclusion of Kapha on this release is super promising too, and as a new artist has really made an impression on us with these tracks, one to keep an eye on for sure!
