Mick Jeets' story began one winter morning when he found a guitar in his hands. What followed was a decade of fronting storied punk & emo bands in the Omaha, NE music scene, but his focus eventually turned to DJing during a residency on community radio. The weekly broadcast opened doors to play at house parties, college bars & and raves, where Mick continued to refine his genre-bending style of bass, techno & nostalgia-fueled party music.

After relocating to Denver, Mick began diving into electronic music production while circuiting the local club scene. Armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of modern music and trends, he found solace in crafting his own take on underground dance music. After a few early releases on @justin-jay's @fantastic-voyage-music, Chicago's @seasonalfrequency & Denver's @coalminesounds, he began to reintroduce himself to the scene - this time on his own terms.

The prospects are bright for Mick Jeets; following a string of EPs released on @strictlyflava, @morelia's and  @teethyrecords imprint, he continues to craft his quaint style through original productions, DJ mixes, internet radio & live shows. As the story of Mick Jeets unfolds, listeners are delighted and surprised by the personal, sonic impression left upon them up.
