Sans takes the role of Annoying Dog. His secret lab is the "dog shrine." Not much to be said about Sans's presence. He's just kinda...there. Vibin.

I don't usually like putting Undertale characters in random role AUs, but it would be criminal not to include some representation of Undertale itself somewhere in an AU about Zeno. This game changed his life. Like seriously, he might be the only person I know who was more affected by the game than I was. In one of the last things he ever wrote, he spent a lot of time talking about how much of an impact the game had on him. It made him see a new beauty in the world. It showed him a certain beauty to human compassion that I don't think he had fully grasped before. There was a time when he was younger where I think he was resigned to just being a colder loner type. But this game brought out a softness in him he wasn't comfortable accepting before then, and he was a much better friend because of it. It made him a guiding light kind of friend, the kind of friend you could come to about anything because you knew he would have the empathy and compassion to understand.
As for Undertale itself, I think Sans was his favorite character. He wasn't a Sans-centric "HAHA BAD TIME" type person by any means, and he had love for each and every character, but I think Sans just happened to be his favorite. The idea of hiding a world of existential sadness behind a funny facade was something he could definitely connect with.

WE'RE *BACK*, BABY! Finally off hiatus! The past month's been a busy one, but not so busy that I couldn't get started on preparing things for the homestretch.
Even to the extent of literally adding more content I wasn't originally planning on! For the first time in Toadie-written AU history... CONSOLE EXCLUSIVES REPLACEMENTS!!!!

Of course, since this isn't a game, none of these are console exclusive songs, nor would they be. They all just get to happen in the same timeline. Neat, right?

Long ago, Shopkeeper Temmie's college funds tragically went missing. She had no clue where it could've gone, had searched everywhere she possibly could've, leaving the only viable option that someone may have stolen it. As to not make it extremely obvious that she was right on the thief's tail, she instead decided to hold operations in the secret room behind Sans and Papyrus' fridge. This song plays in this room during the early stages of her detective work.

Kris has the option to leave anonymous tips, which in actuality is them literally just leaving behind money as opposed to any information that may lead Temmie to finding out what happened to the money.

To celebrate the big 20 for ol' Toadie, a bunch of self-insert tracks for them will be going up today! This replaces Mysterious Shrine, aka the song that plays in the Dog Shrine, in Schreibertale, where Toadie takes the role of Annoying Dog.
After this was made I realized "oh wait it could've been a Toad House, like in Mario" but honestly this was too good to pass up. Sorry not sorry.
