Til ære for Kjeld deler jeg i dag et interview han lavede med mig for 16 år siden:

Kjeld var fuldstændig upfront med alt hvad der rørte sig indenfor musik, og han havde naturligvis spottet at italo havde fået en stor revival i 00'erne. I den forbindelse bad han mig om at lave et italo megamix til Danmarks Radio. Han havde dog et ønske om at jeg inkluderede 2 specifikke plader!... resten var op til mig. De 2 plader - eller rettere sagt brudstykker siger alt om hans forståelse af italo genren. Det var nemlig 2 stk. legendariske breaks:  dels utrolige break fra Ryan Paris - "Dolce Vita" og dels fantastiske break fra Gazebo - "Masterpiece" (B-siden) 

Stor respekt til Kjeld og hans mission om at introducere de danske lyttere til italo.

Senere forsatte Le Gammeltoft og Peter Visti denne mission. Stor tak til jer begge og super fedt at i også spillede mange af mine italo remix igennem årene. 

PS: Billedet er taget i 1983 på mit ungdoms værelse, hvor Kjeld og jeg hørte musik hele dagen lang - og samtidig trænede i at mixe.
