Stefan Schneider – Founder of Livebeats .com

Stefan Schneider has his roots in the electronic music world. He gathered early experience already at age 16 by working as a DJ. In 1998, Schneider was one of the first people to recognize the potential of the Internet and broadcast radio on-line. He streamed his sets and performances on Evosonic and Cosmium Stuttgart. He produced conventional radio for Big FM.

Schneider was also professionally involved in the digital field very early as a self-employed Flash designer and art director for renowned customers such as General Motors Detroit or Johnny Walker and as a freelancer for Leo Burnett & ARC Worldwide. 

As an artist, it was always important to not just market productions but also to create platforms where he could present his own live content to his audience. He recognized the greater value of the live music experience and created a new business model for the music industry out of this.

Since 2007, he has worked on the development of the streaming platform Livebeats. He works closely with the artists, clubs and event managers to bring their music (image and sound) into the Internet live where they can market it there themselves. Livebeats has been online since June 2009.

￼DACHI started producing Music in 1990/1991 as a member of the Hip Hop Group P.T.T.S.C (Peace to the Swiss Cheese). In 1992 DACHI produced tracks with Swiss Hip-Hip Legend Leroy PRC (Rapilepsie, Mindharpoon, Les Gents) resulting in some experimental songs. 

In 2000 he started with electronic music productions until 2003. In this period he worked together with Electro Jazzer Bastian Flury (Sonicglobe) and Drummer Ralph - performing as a electronic music live act in 2003.

The secret of this magic lies in equal doses, on the one hand, with the cool, charismatic, easy-on-the-eye, yet eccentric front man, Janick Pfenninger, and, on the other, with the impressive quantities of artistic sweat that Tim Freitag pour out onto audiences during their stage performances – and, therefore, more or less collectively forego upper body clothing.
