London and Leeds-based Whoeva? has officially joined the ranks of our expanding roster of artists, and we are indeed blessed to have this young one with us.
A student of J-Dilla, his hip-hop roots has given him the versatility to delve into various bpms with ease, ranging from the boogie, low-slung house vibe to more experimental frequencies like 'Distractions'. 

The spatial quality of this track is evident, allowing the low ends to breathe and float, with synth leads and percussion elements adding color to the overall landscape. I started creating this EP attempting to make a project sound like a sunny Saturday morning (Six Thirteen ref check my last project "Temple Terrace") and I quickly realized how one dimensional that truly was. Every Saturday isn't sunny no matter how great the picnic you've planned. Bacon & Eggs quickly turned into a moment of not settling for living and smiling only through sunny Saturdays but, also continuing to fight through the stormy days that may come. Fighting for that smile. 

The name Bacon & Eggs represents Saturdays to me because no matter how wild and crazy the night before or the morning of, I wake up every Saturday morning and fix my 2 little kings, Bacon & Eggs(also toast..but it just didn't roll off the tongue right for the title lol. No matter what is going on, they know Bacon & Eggs is for breakfast. I made this project with the same love I make their Bacon & Eggs. This is my Bacon & Eggs for you all.
