At the end of 2021, Ultra Records was acquired by Sony Music and David Waxman, who previously held the title of head of A&R and General Manager, was appointed as President. DJ VONIK came onto the scene at the young age of 15, turning heads with his unique blend of hip hop, house, and electro. From the humble origins of spinning weekly in front of a local hip hop clothing store, he became youngest resident DJ in Taiwan at the famous Plush nightclub by age 18. All the while, VONIK stayed true to his turntablist roots and was crowned Taiwan's 2009/2010 DMC Champion, going on to represent Taiwan at the DMC World Championship in London. Since then, VONIK has held numerous residencies all over Taiwan and also worked on both Jay Chou and Show Luo on their albums. Truly a DJ's DJ with background in both the club and turnbalist scene, DJ VONIK brings over 10 years of party rocking experience to the decks and is not someone you want to miss!
