Palms Trax is a producer and Dj based in Berlin, Germany. His first record was released in October of 2013 on London-based imprint Lobster Theremin.

Be it the excitement of a pluck of a guitar string or the encompassing
comfort of a four-to-the-floor at 4:30 am on a Tuesday: Monumental are
deeply rooted in the joy of making music. Both at home in the studio and
on stage, the collective sources their inspiration from a plethora of
backgrounds in visual arts, storytelling and creative friction. Monumental
consistently share their findings through their passion of creating
community in social gatherings. Thankfully tapping in the talents of friends they meet along the way, Monumental obsessively think and rethink the ways music can be enjoyed today.

Born and raised in western Germany’s former industrial area ‘Ruhrgebiet’, Walter got infected with the vinyl-virus through the music of local Hiphop heroes like Too Strong, R.A.G. and Creutzfeld & Jakob.
After moving to Hamburg Walter started to work as a soundengineer, gathering his first DJ experiences at freestyle-sessions and underground parties. Now living in Berlin being an asset to Through My Speakers and partner in crime of Sarah Farina, Walter takes his Influences to various parties and played alongside big names like Redman, Machinedrum, Mike Skinner or David Rodigan.
Free from musical boundaries, he likes exploring the world of grooves and bassdriven music, blending influences from Berlin to Lisbon, from Africa to Brazil and the Caribbeans and back to Europe via Detroit, Chicago and London. Always creating interesting sets for mind, body and soul.

BEAGLE TRAXX, love and the philosophy of the label is born out of the affection held for conceiving and sharing quality electronic music. There are no rules about what BEAGLE TRAXX  will sound like, but it comes from the heart, so expect true house values to be maintained at all times with a natural tip towards the deep, Chicago and Detroit.
