Bordello A Parigi is delighted to announce the return of Ichisan to the label. The Slovenian producer draws on the soul of house, the clean lines of electro and smoky grooves of disco for Saturnus. Full-bodied percussion lays a path for curves of keyboard to mingle with throaty basslines, cosmic constellations blooming and bursting in this nine-minute odyssey. Off-kilter keys steady themselves into solid strings for “Rodeo Disko”, bubbles of funk rising to the surface as distant vocoders echo to the distance. An appreciation of the meandering melodies of the late 1970s permeates the three offerings. Percussive patterns shift with “Fujirama”. Droplets of drums gather to a racing rhythm, a spiralling synthline speeds while a thick dauby bass calms the tempo. This close is emblematic of the entire EP, clever and upbeat with an underlying intricacy that illustrates Ichisan’s evolution as an artist. A welcome return from a wonderful talent.

Laurent Garnier has handpicked six fresh tracks for COD3 QR's first release of 2025: [QR]D.024.HDZ.25.

Dukwa kicks things off with “Waves.” A seasoned Italian DJ and producer, Dukwa has been honing his craft for over a decade. From his early solo work on Bosconi to releases on Don’t Be Afraid, Numbers, Shall Not Fade, and his own Dukwa Music, his sound has evolved into something raw, punchy, and always meticulously crafted with hardware, sampling, and editing.

Next up is Victor Santana with “Jilter All Day.” A Madrid-based DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Victor has always been dedicated to uniting the crowd through music. Having released on labels like Subsist, EPM Music, and Motech, he’s also the founder of Chaval Records, an imprint set to make waves soon.

Hard To Tell (Roy & Roi) bring the energy with “Feeling Alright.” Known for their hypnotic grooves, they fuse Detroit techno, house, new wave, and breakbeat dynamics into magnetic club bangers. Their tracks have been supported by Dixon and Âme, with recent releases on Secret Weapons, Sums Over Histories, and Siamese.

French artist Squal G brings a driving techno track with “Face.” Passionate about electronic music since the ‘90s, Squal G has dabbled in various styles while staying true to his roots in techno. As the producer and manager of Slates Records, his sound is versatile and ever-evolving.

Danny Daze follows with a gritty electro anthem, showcasing his risk-taking approach to music. A Miami native deeply influenced by the underground Dutch electro and Detroit techno scenes, Daze has expanded his reach beyond techno, working on runway soundtracks for top brands and producing for his label, Omnidisc.

The collaboration between Djoy De Cuba and Joyvan Guevara (aka Djoy De Cuba) brings the atmospheric techno drone of “Vertigo.” Born in Havana and based in Tampa, Florida, Djoy De Cuba is a pioneer of Cuban electronic music and founder of the ROTILLA festival.

Finally, French producer Marcelus (under his alias Rosegreen) closes the EP with the ethereal electronica of “Lotus.” A discreet yet respected figure in the techno world, Marcelus has built a strong reputation with releases on Deeply Rooted House, Tresor, and his own Singular Records, as well as a residency at Berlin's Tresor club.

This diverse EP represents the breadth and depth of COD3 QR’s ongoing sonic exploration, bringing together some of the most exciting names in electronic music today.
