La Jungle, a Mons-based duo born in the obscure noise music scene, get their good friend Mugwump in to battle and he triumphs in this live instrumental growler. Rattling drum kicks and snares race from the start, a tight and insistent bass slide gets nagged by some up in the bridge guitar twinkles, and then the claps get the plaudits they heartily deserve. Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 11th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Each compilation stands at the intersection of the musical and cultural surroundings most prominent of their respective times, acting both as a reminder as well as a timeless sound capsule for the years to come.

Exclusive Jac The Disco 'Cosmic Matter (Prins Thomas Remix)'

Londoner Jay Rossi, better known under his Jac The Disco moniker, delivers the first EP of his newly and co-founded label Spin On This'. 'Cosmic Matters', the title of the label's debut EP, comes with two original tracks, 'Cosmic Matters' and 'Bali Dance', as well as two remixes from two of the scene's most iconic producers, namely I:Cube and Prins Thomas. While French legend I:Cube took on remix duties for 'Bali Dance', Prins Thomas reworks the EP's title track. The Norwegian producer turns the orginal take into an eight minute lasting journey of blissful and mental sound-experiences paired with a lush bass line that's basically rolling out the red carpet for the varying synths and percussions to walk the path and transport the listener to a mental state of mind that hits closest to the imagination of reaching fulfillment in sound spheres and niches.

Jac The Disco's EP 'Cosmic Matter' was released on Spin On This on December 2nd, 2019.

Olivan is a Swiss DJ and producer who holds a residency at the much feted Club Nordstern in Basel. Having built his craft through his teenage years, joining the Nordstern family opened up a world of opportunities - performing around Europe and sharing a stage with the likes of Dixon, Solomun, Damian Lazarus, Acid Pauli, Nico Stojan, Lee Burridge and Black Coffee, just to name a few. Now Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan signed him to release this debut EP on their new sublabel Ouïe Circle. 
With the Anafra EP, Olivan affirms his ability to create magical moments from a few disparate elements. 
The title track is rooted around the percussion - with drums from all over the world were recorded and layered over a dreamy, deep background. In contrast, Panda is more pumping - a thick insistent bass drum sets the tone for a groove-laden bassline and rich, detailed synths and arps.

Exclusive Panthera Krause 'Road To Arcadia (Kasper Bjørke Disco Rework)'

Originally released as part of Panthera Krause's album It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You at the end of last year, two new approaches of his take Road To Arcadia are about to be released as part of Robert's, Panthera Krause's real name, next single on Riotvan. While the artist contributes a club version of Road To Arcadia himself, Copenhagener Kasper Bjørke is responsible for the second track of the single release and turns it into a hauntingly disco rework which has as much energy as Donna Summer's I Feel Love In other words Bjørke's Disco Rework simply is a continuous groover, which develops the latter due to the implementation of additional sounds throughout the track or a change of the chords right up to incorporating a so called glitch in the last part of the track. 

Panthera Krause's single Road To Arcadia will be released on Riotvan on February 14th, 2020

Live At Robert Johnson deploys a very true to its school release by one of Brussels finest, @DC Salas. „The Complicated Art of Dreaming“ tells a four-track tale of joyous and airy nights on the dancefloor. A few euphoric sixteenths and a few quirky acid lines, lush pads and irresistible drums—it’s all about giving you that driving and energetic feeling, with more than one genuine hands in the air floorfiller at your disposal.

Things are what you expect of LARJ: Driving high quality tracks with an emotional twist, a nod to the luscious moments on the wooden dancefloor.

DC Salas is thirtysomething year old Diego Cortez Salas, a skilled talent with peruvian origins hailing from Brussels. His four-track EP „The Complicated Art of Dreaming“ delves into classic territories, an eclectic amalgamation of his musical inspirations in 15 years of digging and DJing. A regular DJ at C11 and Kiosk Radio both in Brussels, Diego also co-runs Biologic Records with his mate Abstraxion since 2014.

The sound of the jungle is intense. Cicadas, exotic birds, treetop primates and a myriad of other species joining together in chorus, each animal call part of an uncontested soundscape that blankets the dense green foliage from each to every corner. A holistic nature exists that connects each creature, from the roots of the trees to the smallest insect, maintaining a balance that keeps the natural order, and defends the jungle from any kind of unnatural malevolent power. 

IDA sound label head and Moscow native Denis Kolomensky's next release comes in the form of Ritual Gone Wrong, an EP that draws inspiration from the idea of our primal human instincts being at odds with the way we live in modern society. Out later this month on Karakter, an Amsterdam-based label devoted to all things alternative electronic, the EP also features a reimagination from label boss Pedro Martins, who strips back the breakbeats slightly and introduces a subtle alien ambience and a heavy acid bass.
