At RLSD Records we aim to invest in and develop people. Every-once in a while we find artists with something extra going on, Spedned was one of these acts for sure. Under the tutelage of RLSD's Sunil Sharpe & Doug Cooney in BIFE it was clear from the outset that Spedned has something extra special going on. Illustrating his realness on and off the decks helping and encouraging his peers selflessly.

Spedned's has had a meteoric rise of late moving from strength to strength, co-founding Hidden Love back in 2021 he’s gone on to play venues all across the city such as Index, The Sound House, and Bow Lane while also supporting the likes of Vil, Cravo & Tommy Holohan.
 
Quickly establishing himself as one of the most skilled & gifted selectors in the capital, he prides himself on his work ethic and dedication to the craft. Heavily inspired by the late 90’s / early 2000’s era of techno which follows in his mixing style, he comfortably moves between vinyl & cdj creating a high octane performance. Expect energy infused grooves from the get go.

Nasci e cresci na Irlanda. Atualmente morando na Austrália. Eu sempre tive um ouvido para música eletrônica desde muito jovem. Ao longo dos últimos anos eu realmente me apaixonei pelo techno groovy hipnótico.
Eu me inspirei principalmente em artistas como MARRON & Rene Wise. Comecei a pesquisar a fundo nesse estilo de techno para aumentar minha coleção.
Desde que saímos do confinamento aqui na Austrália, eu e alguns amigos começamos uma rave clandestina ilegal chamada: HYPNO. Após o nosso primeiro evento, realmente obtivemos reconhecimento e esperamos que continue a crescer no futuro. Também sou a segunda metade de Elude na Austrália, uma dupla de techno.

I was born and raised in Ireland. Currently living in Australia. I always had an ear for electronic music from a very young age. Over the past few years I really fell in love with the hypnotic groovy techno. I was inspired mostly by artists such as MARRON & Rene Wise. I really started digging deep for this style of techno to grow my collection. I would always record mixes from my kitchen in my apartment here Australia just to listen back over and try see where I need to improve. Since we came out of lockdown here in Australia me and a few mates started an illegal underground rave event known to be called HYPNO. 
After our first event it really got recognition and we hope it continues to grow in the future. I'm also the second half of Elude over in Australia, this is me and my mates alias.

DJ OPTIK is a self proclaimed old school vinyl slinger. Leaning into the nostalgic roots of Techno, He plays classic tracks from the late 90's and early 2000's. Hailing from Ireland DJ OPTIK started his DJing journey playing in Dublin, but since moving to Berlin his record collection has swelled and so has his passion for the craft. Having recently played the infamous HÖR live stream in May he proved his caliber on the international stage, Delivering a stand out performance and paving an exciting future for himself.

Hyped to announce our 39th guest to the series. All the way from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷. We introduce you to a super skilled dj and producer by the name of Gina Demarchi. With a deep passion for electronic genres and blending different styles into energising sets. Ranging from groove to tribal, dubtechno and hardgroove. She presented her set in different cycles and clubs in Buenos Aires, and in other iconic countries such as Chile. And podcasts with on big channels such as Akronym, Synergie, Influenced Records and more.

Next to being a DJ Gina is also a well known producer with releases on Diffuse Reallity, Analogue network together with our friend CucaRafa, Different Sound a VA by SixthSense and many more. Currently she’s working on a new EP loaded with grooves and remixes by high caliber artists.

Also Gina is the co-owner and creator of the groove music event organisation called HOODED together with Dokker. A resident for Balls in Europe and signed by the Agency Coldnorth in Barcelona.

For this hour long podcast Gina has used 4 decks seeking a combination of styles between modern groove, oldschool, hiphop, house and dubtechno to be able to provide depth, sensitivity, and rhythm above all, it is a track set that It was totally spontaneous, she always looks for creativity under the trays and that for her is in improvisation, the set was not put together from a logic but from a line, and as a concept she seeks freedom of expression for that very reason is that she chooses between letting herself being and feeling it, with a lot of movement and flow!
