Coda Mix 052 - TORSO

Salvador Perea, aka Retter, is a Colombian DJ, producer, and electronic music enthusiast who moved to Berlin five years ago to immerse himself in its underground scene and contribute to its vibrant culture.

Initially drawn to techno, his sound evolved within Berlin's dynamic landscape. 
As Retter, he spans a wide range of electronic music - venturing into experimental territories while keeping the dancefloor alive with intrigue. 
An outlet of raw energy and hypnotic grooves, his sets combine precision and unpredictability.

He is also part of the trio 2001 Space Odyssey with Nikita T and Fase023, blending live improvisation and experimental fusion to push musical boundaries.
During the pandemic, Salvador found inspiration in organizing and playing at raves, which led to the creation of Técnica - a label and event series. Técnica's releases gained attention, and its events in underground and illegal clubs helped establish its distinct presence in the Berlin scene.

스페인을 넘어 영국, 독일, 네덜란드, 러시아, 이탈리아 등 전 유럽에 걸쳐 사랑받고 있는 디제이 Aiken은, 80년대 중반 스페인에서 태어나 디트로이트 테크노, 베를린 사운드, 그리고 UK 테크노 등의 다양한 영향을 받았으며, 가장 순수한 테크노부터 딥 테크노, 일렉트로, IDM까지 폭넓은 사운드를 아우르고 있다. Aiken은 여러 디지털 레이블에서 EP 앨범을 발표한 이후, 2011년 Semantica Records에서 EP "Mer"를 발매하며 피지컬 포맷으로 데뷔했다. 그 후 Non Series, KEY Vinyl, Chronicle 등 존경받는 레이블에서 발표한 작업들은 세계적인 테크노 아티스트들로부터 많은 지지를 받았고 여러 차트에 진입했다. 2015년에는 자신의 플랫폼인 Timeline을 설립하여 다양한 영향을 결합한 창의성을 표현하고 있다.

Aiken is a Spanish artist born in the mid-80s, influenced by diverse sources such as Detroit techno, the Berlin sound, and music produced in the UK, among others. As a DJ, his sets cover a wide spectrum of sounds ranging from the purest forms of techno to deeper variations, as well as electro and IDM. As a producer, after releasing on several digital labels, he made his physical debut in 2011 with the EP “Mer” on Semantica Records. Since then, his releases on Non Series, KEY Vinyl, and Chronicle have been charted and supported by leading figures in the global techno scene. In 2015, he launched his own platform, Timeline, with the aim of expressing his creativity by combining different influences. All of these projects have contributed to his DJ sets being enjoyed in top clubs across countries such as England, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, and Italy.

Árni is a Berlin-based DJ / producer, and the head of NIX record label. 

Originally hailing from Reykjavik, he has been a stepping stone in the Icelandic electronic music scene for over a decade. Known for his seamless sets, Árni mixes with ability and versatility to move between different styles.

Árni started the label NIX, a label that stands out in the techno scene, catching the attention of some of the genre's biggest names. NIX is home to a diverse range of artists, and Árni's carefully curated releases have gained worldwide recognition, namely finding a home at Hardwax. 

Despite his music and label owner career, he doesn't take himself too seriously and believes in embracing the fun in everything he does. Whether behind the decks or helping out other artists, Árni brings a forward-thinking attitude to dance music without ever losing his down-to-earth approach.

Fresh off the heels of her EPs for Tresor and Blueprint, Ego Sum is a showcase of Tresor resident Chloe Lula’s distinctive sound: deep and meditative hypnotica on one hand, and tactile, introspective peak-time on the other. Over the last few years, Chloe has honed her skills in the studio as a cellist and techno producer, developing a penchant for etheric ambient—as witnessed in her drone album for Subtext released late last year—as well as propulsive four-to-the-floor. Her influences come together in her debut for powerhouse Mord, which breaks the confines of a conventional club-optimized mini album with its marriage of these two styles, and nods to her love for artists who have pioneered minimalism in all forms.
