Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Keith Carnal is a tastemaker in today’s world of techno. His own style of techno has a strong emphasis on melodies, groove, and percussive elements. The artist returns to BPitch with a rousing excursion into the visceral side of techno. Stocked with deadly drum arrangements, thumping kicks and imposing bass lines, Keith Carnal’s armory is well equipped to cause maximum impact on the dance floor.

The storyteller takes its listeners into the world of after party excess and "ape shit craziness" as the beats pump relentlessly. It’s debauched, heavy and utterly alluring.

Adding to previous 12“es on Ostgut Ton and his own RK label fellow Neuköllner and Berghain resident Kobosil offers four new uncompromising Techno club tools.

While all cuts on the 105 release share filthy, stone-cold, elemental rhythms – pounding, energetic and hypnotic 4/4 kick drum slaps – the devil is, like with all Kobosil productions, in the aesthetic details. “40000 L” uses gargling synth patterns and howling horns to dramatic effect; “Bei Nacht H (178)” contrasts the kick with a harsh, tinny drumbeat and menacing melody pad, creating a nightmarish vibe.
“Backmask N” on B1 offers heavily alienated vocal samples alongside rave-reminiscing synth stabs and staggered hi-hat percussion. “Derange” closes this four-tracker with grainy drone echoes and throbbing, sizzling synth pulses.

Adding to Kobosil’s full-floor-focussed sonic repertoire 105 shows him from his darkest and most vigorous side yet – this 12“ is a brute, in the most positive sense.

Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

The triple vinyl release features 14 hand-picked contributions from the label’s trusted collaborators alongside cutting-edge artists new to the roster; making this compilation one of the label’s most varied and innovative collections yet.

On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.

This release further confirms Monnom Black’s reputation for representing raw analogue music and cements the label’s place as the home of some of the roughest and classiest contemporary sounds in techno.
