"Contemplation in F" is an attempt for a moment of calmness. The piano takes the lead, supported by synth textures for depth and atmosphere. A simple piece, but one I’d like in a quiet space for reflection and stillness.

Composed entirely with the new Prehistoric Strings from The Crow Hill Company.
Prehistoric Strings is a bespoke instrument forged from bones, horns, skulls, and cannibalised classical instruments and was created in collaboration with Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music.
This audacious sonic palette was recorded and then distilled into a new plugin for composers. It is staggeringly beautiful.

This track uses that prehistoric voice.
One instrument. One memory.
A slow blink through the shadows of the ancient.
