-こちらのミックスのコンセプトを教えてください。

この、月曜の朝に自宅で録ったmixのコンセプトはいたって簡単だよ。僕が好きで高く評価する曲を使った、いくつかのすばらしいミキシングを収めた。だけと時には曲をストレートにプレイするのも好きだね。さらに、僕はミキシングにおける多様性が本当に好きなんだ。基本的に「僕が今何を楽しんでいるか」を伝えるようなプレイをしたよ。


-最近の活動を教えて下さい。

先月はとても忙しくて素晴らしかった。Lizeのショウケースをやるので、最近はそのクルー達と過ごす時間が多くなっているよ。私たちはベルリンの外でいくつかの素晴らしいパーティをやったよ。そして数週間前にClub der Visionaereの今年のクロージングでもプレイした。LIZE003が発売したばかりだけど、そのLevatのデビューep "Lazaruzz"はわずか数日で完売したよ。とても誇りに思っている。

フランストゥールーズ出身、パリを経て現在はロンドンをベースに活動する。音楽への情熱の衝動のままに2008年にパリへ移住し、定評のあるSAE Instituteでサウンド・エンジニアリングとエレクトロニック・ミュージック・カルチャーを学んだ。そしてあるパリでの夜、ロンドンのToi Toi MusikのIsisとClausと出会い、彼らの主催するパーティでLe Loup、Delano SmithやZipとプレイした後、Toi Toiのレジデントの誘いを受けロンドンに移住する事を決意する。その後彼はロンドンベースのVoigtmannや数々のゲスト・レジデンス（Hello?RepeatのJan KruegerとDaze MaximやNicolas Lutz)と共にレジデンシーを努めることとなった。彼の評判はすでにフランスで広く認知されていたが、Toi Toiと活動を共にする事でさらにヨーロッパ全土にその名を知らしめる事となる。近年、友人であるGuillaume Taillieuと共にレーベル「Discobar」を立ち上げ、これまでにArk、The Mole、Toba、Odd Soulを世に紹介してきた。最近はFabricのRoom 1でのプレイも果たし、Fabricのブログにインタビューとプロモセットが起用されている。

-こちらのミックスはどちらでどのように収録されたのですか？

長い一日が終わり家に帰った後、リビングでレコーディングしたんだ。2台のTechnicsと、mixerはAllen & Heath XONE:92を使用したよ。


-コンセプトがあれば教えてください。

ポッドキャストをレコーディングする時はそれほど準備をするわけではなくて、僕の最近プレイしているコレクション-古い曲から新しい曲まで-から選曲していく。ポイントとしては、その時は正しい判断が出来る状態になる必要があって、そこから適切な流れを最適な方法で発展させていくんだ。いつも簡単にいくわけじゃないよ。


-最近の活動を教えて下さい。

今はパートナーと共に自分のレベール"DISCOBAR"のリリースで忙しくしているよ。DISCOBARからはもうすぐ2枚のリリース予定があって、とてもハッピーな気分だよ。実はもうすぐ3番目のリリースを発表するんだ。1月にストアに並ぶよ。また、僕自身とてもラッキーだと思っているんだけれど、僕の住処であるTOI TOI MUSIKとgigに関しても最高にハッピーだ。これから数ヶ月はベルリンに居を移して、親友達と新しいプロジェクトを始めるんだ。それはより興味深い作品になると思うよ。
