I watched the woman walk down the dim lit avenue filled with garbage and thrown away implants. Her cigarette's smoke slowly dissolved into the stench of the city as she paced swiftly through the morning fog. Passing cars' dirty headlights jumping from shadow to shadow highlighted her polished chrome faceplates. I followed her silently to an empty freight yard near the harbor. Rain started falling, she lit another cigarette. I hid behind a decommissioned rusty old freight robot, took a sip from the artificial whisky I stashed in a paper bag in my trench coat pocket, and waited patiently for the pickup.
