The Last Night

CODE 89 is a French electro/synthwave duo formed by Rems and J-L Cassin. Their sonic universe is distinguished by layers of analog synthesizers and percussive rhythms, creating a unique and contemplative musical signature.

An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

Based in Berlin, Romain combines introspective sounds with fragmented ambient synths in order to explore undercurrents sounds .
The debut album released in 2020 “Research on a Nameless Color“ is inspired by Derek Jarman’s final collection of Essays entitled “Chroma” released in 1994, the year he passed away and written while struggling with illness (facing the irony of an artist going blind). With each hue he approaches the universal unknown color. 
The second album released in 2023 “Soundtrack of Time“ negotiates the perception of time as an attempt to extend, stretch, pause or simply dissolve time, focusing on the energy created while deep listening to the music. 
To appreciate the works, you must consume the tracks in their entirety, demanding your full attention, allowing yourself to lose track of time, like a collage of sounds and fragments of Time.

Green Hologhost is a Spanish  multigenre producter influenced by Cyberpunk, Dark Techno, Synthwave, Darksynth ,  Midtempo , Industrial Bass and Darkclubbing  styles 
He started in 2010 working as DJ at local clubs playing EBM, Dark Electro and Dark Electronics , in 2020 he started his own career as Cyberpunk, Techno and Electro producer. 

Flickering in the shadows between genres like Cyberpunk, Midtempo, Darksynth or even EBM , songs are retaining a melodic edge that hook the listener in . Green Hologhost has been featured on New Retro Wave and other popular releases including "The invention of the devil"  a throbbing ball of enery flambeed in 80's music  or "Beyond The Stars" that has been featured on many popular Cyberpunk playlist
