Code 8 was born in the underbelly of South London: Croydon.
This band came into existence in 2012 when 4 unique musicians joined forces to embark on an epic quest to make noise.
Bobby (guitarist) and Rachel (vocalist) met each other back in 2007, and were originally members of another band, Kaleidofly.
Since the Kaleidofly's demise, the two continued to write tasty jams, and eventually found a drummer in Bobby's younger brother, Daniel (otherwise known as Dilb). 
After a year long hiatus during 2015-2016, Daniel Pirone, a very gifted and passionate musician from Venezuela, joined the band to play bass. 
Since then, the band have collectively been writing a dynamic set of new songs.

Dukes of New York - the B-movie of music - pop/rock band from the UK, with an interest in guitars, bad/good movies, retrogaming and pizza... 

A long time ago, in a Suffolk town far, far away… Three different duo’s stepped into a magic wardrobe, and on the other side - the “Dukes of New York” were born! Well, that’s our story and we’re sticking to it… 

The Dukes are:

Zoe Bradbrook - Vox, Backing Vox

Our shiny new single is called “Poor You”. With Zoe singing the lead vocal, it’s a song about refusing to kowtow to the follies of the tame and the fake. It’s available on all digital download/streaming platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music, as well as our Bandcamp page.

It’s our fidgety relentlessness to not stay still that has led to playing festivals and gigs across the UK and Europe, radio airplay in the USA, and being involved in rather super projects with such acts as Electric Six and Eagles of Death Metal.

So keep your eyes out - your ears peeled - you never know where we’ll pop up next…
