After OW001's maiden-voyage into outer space, Outworld now takes us to the underworld courtesy of label head Klangkuenstler's 'Balthazar' EP, which marries raw peaktime-power with claustrophobic-come-ecstatic atmospheres, served over the course of four tracks.
The devil's dancing on the title-track: as serrated off-hits shatter on tough kicks, a wicked saw-riff begins to drill through the drums as if summoned from Hades. In contrast, the bass-driven body and pulsating sinus-tone of 'Zorn Amons' grind like teeth as they build in tension. A moment of illusive release comes with 'Das Schattenreich', on which the reverberating, fast-paced percussion
runs for escape, hunted fiercely by a meaty trance-lead. On 'Jenseits', though, Klangkuenstler pulls us back into purgatory, showcasing a dramatic end to a carefully crafted and devilishly fun EP of rough club bangers.

Canada's Atroxx is set to release massive forthcoming collaboration with fellow Montreal based producer Mike Laz on his own label Starskream on August 23rd. 

The collaboration between Atroxx and the up-and-coming techno prodigy will be the seventh stellar release on Starskream. Named after Slipknot’s DJ Starscream, the label has a similar ethos to the heavy metal juggernauts with a focus on menacing, bass-driven, unapologetic techno.

The four track EP also features two mixes from Dutch producer and internationally recognised name in techno, Industrialyzer. The first is a heavy techno weapon that packs a punch at the same time as inviting the listener to become entirely immersed in the kick driven stomper. Industrialyzer’s Warehouse mix cranks things up even further with enough industrial-strength percussion and conjuring synths to dominate even the most formidable of dancefloors.

E-Missions co-founder P.Leone returns to Radio Slaves’ Rekids Special Projects dropping four high grade techno cuts.

Known for releasing on labels such as Work Them Records and his own co-run E-Missions, P.Leone has firmly become of the most exciting artists within the inner circles of driving underground music. The Berlin-based American artist and Radio Slave collaborator is now welcomed back to Rekids, bringing his versatile sound that encompasses dark techno and groove driven house.

'Beyond Me' opens with eerie warehouse glitches, cavernous drums that ring out into a huge open space while unsettling pads and textures grab your attention, 'Hard to Find' is a rugged, relentless cut with perfectly forward moving rhythm with detailed edgy synths that keep you in suspense. 'Lenox' continues the energy with distorted drums, hitting hard beneath a blistering groove, 'The Genes is of A Flower' then takes control as an atmospheric track with structural synths.
