When F A S (@listentofas) and Cordier (@cordiermusic) got notice of the @shdw-music & @utobscure0010 charity remix contest for Ärzte ohne Grenzen, they quickly decided to hop on despite the current covid-19 restrictions. Using an online/remote DAW solution for the first time, they created a socialdistancing-conform collaboration remix of the acclaimed “Die weiße Rose” original.

Their ethereal reinterpretation breaks with the straightforward drive of the original while keeping (and taking a deep dive into) its hauntingly beautiful melancholic symphonies. It stands out by a wild and tribal percussive temper, but nevertheless the intense atmospheres and subtle harmonics invite you to let yourself drown in a trancy, solemn and quite introvert realm… until an aural sun breaks through the fog.

That has changed in 2019 when she visited Volt event and that night put her in place. She finally knew what direction she wants to go. The dark, raw, industrial sound was pleasing her ears. Not only industrial, but techno as well. She has not long after came to a conclusion that dancing is not enough anymore, and would like to play as well. With ever evolving hearing for certain elements she discovered the beauty of “Broken Beat” that became part of her mixes. Currently enjoying the dark heavy distorted sound.

Sofia Teslenko is a young artist from Krakow, who was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She spent her youth in the rock environment, which allowed her to understand stronger sounds, and then translate into the desire to create and create music on her own. Living in Poland meant that the culture of electronic music stole her heart. For over a year, he has been operating on the techno scene, playing live acts with a deep and acid sound. Her live performances are a world of deep emotions to which she invites her audience. She is a member of the polish collective TECHNO TECHYES.
