HEX Transmission #063 - Antonio De Angelis

When F A S (@listentofas) and Cordier (@cordiermusic) got notice of the @shdw-music & @utobscure0010 charity remix contest for Ärzte ohne Grenzen, they quickly decided to hop on despite the current covid-19 restrictions. Using an online/remote DAW solution for the first time, they created a socialdistancing-conform collaboration remix of the acclaimed “Die weiße Rose” original.

Their ethereal reinterpretation breaks with the straightforward drive of the original while keeping (and taking a deep dive into) its hauntingly beautiful melancholic symphonies. It stands out by a wild and tribal percussive temper, but nevertheless the intense atmospheres and subtle harmonics invite you to let yourself drown in a trancy, solemn and quite introvert realm… until an aural sun breaks through the fog.

He has cultivated his passion since 2000, the year in which he began his career. He has worked as a resident DJ for various Italian clubs, also affirming his first productions with labels such as Labella Recordings & Lapsus Music. From 2017 to today has released ep for some important labels among which Planet Rhythm , Kaputt Music , Lateal Fragments, and his music is played and supported by many international DJs such as Ben Klock , Rodhad , Chris Liebing , Shlomi Aber , Boris, ecc.
He has played alongside internationally renowned DJs such as Ricardo Villalobos, Dustin Zahn, Brian Sanhaji, Tommy Four Seven, Technasia, Alex Neri, Uovo, Ivo Toscano, Thomas T, Sandro Vibot in clubs of Tuscany and beyond.

Aetha, originally from Lublin is one of the most important pillars of Kraków club scene. She started DJing in 2014 under a Jot moniker where she shared her love for psytrance and occasionally played techno. After some time she decided to separate her musical paths and continue her adventure with techno under the Aetha alias.
Aetha is very involved in the local scene. In 2018 she was part of Szpitalna 1 club crew where as an Event Manager she was among others responsible for managing Open Decks nights. This Wednesdays events were bringing fresh energy to the scene and helped raise a new generation of DJs. She is now a Booker of STK47 Warehouse, the most underground spot on the Krakows map. Aetha is also part of the Vultur crew under which she throws techno parties with Rraph and Diabot. Aetha performed in almost all major cities in Poland and showed her skills on international dancefloors in Berlin, London, the Czech Republic, or Slovakia. In 2019, she joined the lineup of the Instytut Festival and performed at New Faces party cycle in Tresor.
In her sets Aetha focuses on presenting various surfaces of rhythmic techno. Her performances are always well-thought-out and filled with emotions. She is famous for her great mixing skills and captivating dancers during long sets.
