a New Sled Space is the long-running DIY project of New England–born multi-instrumentalist & songwriter Taylor Andrew Parnell.

Rooted in rough, home-grown recordings, his songs often start as live takes and improvisations, then build with harmonies, field sounds, & instinctive overdubs. The imperfections preserve the moment the music was born.

Call Her Alaska (affectionately known as "CHA") was an Indie/Emo band that formed in Manchester, NH in 2004.

Members of Call Her Alaska are, and were, also involved in other projects including Codeine Comely, a New Sled Space, Kyle Jaymes, Always Turning, Larry Bird, 6:37, Early Birds, and Our Last Night.

Codeine Comely started in 2003 as an acoustic side project to Call Her Alaska. Over the years, it grew into something more than just a bunch of unused CHA songs.

New music now being released as a New Sled Space.
