Jay Parmesan, formerly known as Bluejay, is a singer songwriter and producer based in Isla Vista, California, who combines rigorous training in classical Indian music with a deep appreciation and involvement in Western pop, r&b, hip hop, and jazz to create a balance that you can’t find in anyone else. COLORGRADE is a new direction for a versatile artist, an eclectic yet cohesive body of work that reconsiders entire genres and warps melodies through multiple tinted lenses.

With full regard of your musical taste, Jay Parmesan knows there's something in this EP for you.

Frustrated by the lack of representation of South Asian creators in the American music landscape, Jay believes that in making original music, he is actively contributing to the cultural identity of South Asian- Americans. He hopes that his willingness to put himself in the spotlight while wearing his artistic heritage on his sleeve inspires creators from other underrepresented communities to do the same.
