Initially cutting his teeth in the progressive world with a string of heralded tracks on Enhanced in the early 2020s, Taylor experienced a whirlwind start to his career—spanning constant support from the world’s leading DJs and millions of streams, to festival appearances at at EDC Las Vegas, Dreamstate and more.

In the past 12 months, Taylor has found even stronger footing as he's developed a new rave-forward sound at the intersection of techno, rave, and the harder edge of trance. His efforts have resulted in tremendous momentum during 2024, with his regular releases (including those on Hardwell’s Revealed imprints) securing hundreds of thousands of streams in just a few weeks, and his well-curated online profiles growing at breakneck pace.

Coming fresh off performances this year at Beyond Wonderland & EDC, and tour dates across key venues in the US, Taylor’s momentum continues into 2025. Sharing with the audience what I think are the greatest records of the moment or what I think are timeless and personal classics is something that has motivated me through the years. I see my job as being a big filter: As a vinyl junkie, I am in the record stores chasing jams almost everyday. And I am also following movements in what I hear such as when techno was revolutionary or when the NY deep house sound really expanded, that’s what I would showcase. Now that a lot of techno and house roots are being revived and also reinvented, I can as always, enjoy playing a lot of new amazing records and some classics!

Twenty years in, from house to techno and everything in between, DJ Deep has immersed himself in the ebb and flows of music, be it NY, Chicago, Detroit or today’s current pulsating waves. He captures the magic of each as a leading figure of the Parisian scene and label owner, connecting the dots both forward and back with his own personal and multidimensional touch.

DJ Deep first got his break when he was invited by Laurent Garnier to DJ at parties such as Oz and Zoo at club Palace, or Boy, in his hometown Paris. Followed by regular appearances at the influential Rex Club, radio shows ‘A Deep Groove’ on then pirate station Radio FG, and later Radio Nova, plus a string of mix CDs on Distance and Respect is Burning, DJ Deep began touring worldwide, spreading his house and techno obsession to audiences craving his deep crates of musical truth.

In 2003, DJ Deep launched his labels Deeply Rooted (formerly Deeply Rooted House) and House Music Records, shining a spotlight on true-to-its roots house and techno records and harder to find gems from the likes of Kerri Chandler, L.B. Bad, Terence Fixmer, Mike Dehnert and Roman Poncet. The dream catalogue sealed his music curatorship with timeless records such as Kerri Chandler’s now classic “Back to the Raw”, Ben Klock’s remix of “Pong” by Kerri Chandler and Francois X’s “Code Red” remixed by Marcel Dettmann.

A reformat in 2015 and DJ Deep’s latest evolution in expression sees him join forces with Roman Poncet as Sergie Rezza, an open-minded experimentation with a standout album on Desire Records and performances including Berlin Atonal. Their straight-up techno live project, Adventice, saw a trio of releases on the reputable Tresor with performances at Weather Festival (Paris), Reperkusound Festival (Lyon) and many more to come. Fang is the duo’s house-leaning alias, which marked Deeply Rooted’s momentous 50th release in 2015. Unabatedly, DJ Deep’s solo adventure also continues with his own deep “cuts” out on his label or under his Rébeval raw house alias, on the cult NYC L.I.E.S Records.

Robbert Vellekoop, better known by his artist name Kriss Reeve, first gained interest in DJing after observing a local disk jockey at his local elementary school in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Hooked by the rush of entertaining and engaging with crowds, young Reeve began exploring the craft by making mixtapes in his bedroom and uploading them to Soundcloud and social media boards. Reeve’s talents soon garnered him attention from the local dance scene and radio stations, and he became known for his monthly live mixes and performances. 

After solidifying his name as a local performer, Reeve turned his talents to remixing and producing records for other acts. His passion for developing complex ideas into melodic hits secured him his first record deal at just 16 years old, a Dance-Tunes top 100, and airtime on national radio stations like 538 and SlamFM. He was later accepted into the Herman Brood Academy in the Netherlands where he continued his musical studies. 

By 2018, Reeve made the pivotal decision to release music under his own artist name. Driven by a desire to leverage full artistic freedom, he embarked on a mission to develop his sound into official releases and remixes. His first remix of English pop singer Dua Lipa instantly gained millions of views upon its release, and his first single got chosen by the Dutch Top 40 as the #1 release of that week. Subsequent tracks were supported by the likes of Tiesto, Fisher, Don Diablo, Hardwell, R3hab, Mike williams, Bassjackers and Lost Frequencies.

Kriss Reeve’s signature sound is best described as a mix between Tech House and Bass House. To achieve this style, he fluidly blends tech house grooves with a palette of underground house sounds while also engaging listeners with memorable vocals. For him, “it combines something recognizable with something new and fresh.” 

The diversity of styles in Reeve’s music is further reflected in his live shows, where he enjoys keeping the crowd on their feet with surprising drops and catchy vocals. You can often find Reeve singing along to the music and interacting with his fans on stage. He has also performed in countries such as Panama, Spain, France and Greece, and shared stages alongside acts like La Fuente, Sick Individuals, and Mike Williams.

When he’s not behind the decks or at the studio, you can usually find Reeve drinking his daily dose of ice tea or polishing his skills on the basketball court. He also enjoys finding creative inspiration for tracks, interacting with his fans on social media, and planning his next international performance.
