Sosumi Records continues its relentless run of peak time weapons with the long anticipated follow up single to one of the first releases, Jedi back in 2014. Tom Tyger has teamed up with Swedish producer Andero to make the melodic masterpiece, “ Let it Go”.

The track begins light, and soon begins fills out with the introduction of the kick drums, whirring lead, then ominous percussion leading to the release of the beat, dressed with elements of techno and disco driving through to the next build up where the sounds really come alive with a aural piece of art in the form of the melody, fully packed with a bright synth lead giving this track that peak time Sosumi hallmark.

For years Andero his musical talent was kept hidden in Sweden. The now 22-year-old Emil Persson spent hours in de studio mastering the art of making groovy house music. Label boss Marcus Schössow recognized the passion and determination of Person and decided to give Andero a chance. A chance he took with both hands, because we can already tell you that Spectrum is the first of many Andero releases on Code Red.

Spectrum is very special to Andero. It is the Swedish DJ/producer his first solo release and the first one he signed after he decided to quit his normal day job to focus on music. It was a big step for him, but the right one when you listen to Spectrum. This tune marks the moment that he started to pursue his dreams and make a living out of his hobby. 

The heavy bassline, subtle synths and smooth break result in a big club track that already proved itself during Ultra Music Festival and the Amsterdam Dance Event. There is no doubt about the quality of Spectrum because many fans thought it was a track produced by Marcus Schössow and Kryder. Not bad when people think that about your first release.

So there you have it: A new Swedish talent that already proved himself with a massive collaboration on Sosumi Records, an amazing tune that proved itself at some of the biggest festivals and that was tied to some of the biggest DJ’s in its sound. Andero kicks off with a bang, with Spectrum to be precise. And trust us, so much more good music is coming from him in the near future!

One of Sweden its best kept secrets is no longer a secret. After releases on Code Red and Sosumi, Andero proved he is here to stay. The constant flow of quality house tunes coming from his studio keeps surprising us. Every time Andero sends us a new track we are blown away by it. “Sunrise” was no different story and is one the secret ID tracks that Marcus Schössow has been playing for months. 

“Sunrise” is one of early tracks that Andero sent to us. Though the bassline is quite heavy, it’s perfectly balanced, creating a solid groove and disco vibe. In the break “Sunrise” starts to open up to unleash all its energy in the drop. The organic sounds of Andero his latest battle weapon give the track its distinguishing sound, making it something we just had to share with you and the rest of the world. 

With his previous release “Spectrum” Andero gained a lot of respect from both colleagues and fans. It motivated the Swedish DJ/producer to push it to the next level. We can already assure you that a lot of cool tunes are coming up really soon. Andero also started with his own podcast to share his favorite music with the fans.

Like we said before: Andero is here to stay and to make the industry a bit groovier. Especially in that last thing he is succeeding quite well. It is one the reasons that Code Red’s chief Marcus Schössow has so much faith in his fellow countryman. And with such high quality productions coming from the Andero studio, it won’t come as a surprise his next release is already scheduled. However, let’s stay focused on the present: “Sunrise” will be out March 21 and once again proves Andero’s huge talent!

When Andero and Mydo sent us “Bad Things” back in the summer of 2015, we were all hyped up at Code Red. The track got premiered during our label night at the Amsterdam Dance Event. It was a strong progressive tune, but label boss Marcus Schössow believed that “Bad Things” could become more badass than it already was. Now, after almost a year of studio sessions and testing, the collaboration between the Swedish talents Andero and Mydo is finally ready to share with the world.

It is the lead guitar that immediately draws your attention in “Bad Things”. Add the beautiful piano melody in the break and emotional vocals by Niclas Lundin, and you get something truly special. You might think that we are talking about a pop song, but don’t get us wrong. “Bad Things” just stands out and is a proper dance tune for sure.

Andero is one of Code Red its homegrown talents. With the releases of “Spectrum” and “Sunrise”, the Swedish talent youngster made a name for himself. The support on Andero his groovy tunes has been amazing. Fellow Swede Mydo is on a roll too with releases on Revealed Recordings and support from some of the biggest DJ’s. These two true Code Red members collaborating, is proof that the label is so much more than just another record label.
 
So when you are looking for a fresh and energetic crossover tune that embarks the start of the summer. Don’t look any further, because “Bad Things” by Andero and Mydo featuring Swedish singer/songwriter Niclas Lundin is that good thing you were searching for. The two DJ/producers really came up with something surprising and we are pretty sure it isn’t a bad surprise.

It was that belief that led @marcusschossow to begin the Code Red Music project in 2015. Based upon the concept of having talent meet talent, the label’s values as both an institution and record company were quickly acclaimed by many.

In Marcus’ words, “we wanted to create a place where our musical dreams can run wild”. A core value of this belief is to “speak to each other daily, seeking to help and assist wherever possible”. Not in the form of a constitution or set of rules, but creative freedom.

Code Red is focused on the musical journey and experience. Here, we value charts just as much as discovery. At the core of this journey is interaction. Through the shared vision of Marcus, our artists and our fans, we aspire to expand our quest for musical freedom and friendship.
